The Wild Edge in collaboration with the Guardian Australia have produced an interactive showcase of NSW’s ocean pools. From above, the rockpools of coastal New South Wales seem almost otherworldly. They're small sanctuaries of turquoise and aquamarine hollowed out of rock shelves and hewn into headlands. All are unique, built to hug the landscape and adapt to their natural environment. The collaboration spans across an online interactive map, article and clip. For more information take a look at the about section under Ocean Pools and head to the Guardian for the full experience. To hear Nicole speak abut the project more tune in to her interview with Kia Handley on ABC Radio Newcastle.
